Sometimes, I step away from my typical abstract work to fill my canvas with waterlily petals. Inspired by my visit to the NY's Museum of Modern Art, Monet's Waterlilies evoke a desire to recreate their beauty. The delicate petals to float on the pond's surface, as if they are gently brushing against your hands. Additionally, I weave in my passion for text and calligraphy by inscribing passages about stillness and love from 1 Corinthians 13.
